Today was quite the day- The Kingdom of Madár, which had previously defeated the Chayuthayan Empire decisively and nearly captured Mikoto, has been forced to surrender to Chayuthayan forces after several decisive battles.

A near-defeat for the Imperial forces at oakwood hills turned into a surprising victory two weeks ago, after which Varos was quickly sacked with much of the Madar army having dispersed. This week, Madar’s army numbered only seven due to defeatism and desertions within their ranks, leading to the fall of the Fortress of Hochberg & the Kingdom of Orzya.

Madar’s King was killed during the battle, and it is expected that the remnants of Madar will reform under King Supa in Jezakron. The Chayuthayan Empire has permanently annexed Varos and accepted the local leftist government, while Orzya has been given to the Avalon Kingdom for its support during the war.

In the aftermath, peace will reign between all parties of this multi-month long war. Madar shall have access to the Hochberg Fortress as their own town, albiet under Imperial supervision. The Empire and its allies look forward to a renewed period of peace, although trouble appears to be brewing in Agiya as peasant discontent begins to spread far beyond the borders of the Mythros conflict. A radical new ideology appears to be taking hold among the commoners of the Empire and other nations of the world, whose adherents claim that wealth, property, and industry should be controlled equally by communes of the people rather than by the nobles of Agiya.
